Amy, the General Manager, absolutely made this right. She reached out to me via Facebook the next day, and made arrangements for us to bring both of our vehicles in at a time that worked for us, and had her team do an awesome job both inside and out on our cars. They haven't looked this good in years!
In what will be my very LAST visit here, I drove by and there was no line (hooray!) so I figured what the heck, the car is dirty. I had about 30 minutes to spare.
Wish they would go out of business and get replaced by someone who knows anything about customer service, and work ethic.
Never again. Took over half an hour until some kid with a grey, dirty rag in one hand and a 64oz soft drink in the other “kind of” wiped my car down. I think it was actually dirtier when they were done than when I arrived. Can’t say if the issue is recruiting, training or both, but that place is a mess.
Amy is the manager and she is always professional and helpful. The kids work hard and always aim to please. Front desk is friendly and helpful.
I've been to this location 20+ times, because I live across the street. Every time they do a sub-par job, take forever, and demand tips.
Absolutely terrible! Never go here, you're better off doing it yourself. First one in line, and somehow three cars got in front of me. Had to wait 5 minutes for a representative to show up to address me, and after the three cars got in front of me. My car waited outside for another 10 minutes. Definitely going to look for a new place for full service or do it myself. Terrible, absolutely terrible!!!
**** ORIGINAL POST ****
Our friends bought us a gift certificate for "The Max," after their daughter got sick in our van, and when I came on a Monday morning at 10:30, I was told they couldn't do it "because of staffing." This was as at least 3 employees were standing around looking at the eclipse, and not a single car was in process. When I went in to speak with the manager (Karen?), I was again told about staffing issues. When I asked to make an appointment, I was told they don't take appointments, and that I would "just have to come by," and "hope" they "might" be able to get it done "in a few hours." So, I just have to cross my fingers and "come by" every so often whenever I have "a few hours" extra. How ridiculous and frustrating.
**** UPDATE ****
Things happen in business, and no company or person is perfect, but what sets a service apart is how they take care of customers even when the imperfection happens. Amy personified this, and I couldn't be happier.
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The wash is excellent. I am a member and and go there quite often. It is always a great experience.
Zero stars if I could...
Paid $24 for the "wheel deal". Car went through the auto wash part immediately, and then was parked in the sun. For TWENTY FIVE minutes no one touched it. Car completely dried with spots in the sun. I had no more time, so I went inside and asked for a refund. The cashier told me she needed a manager and called for one. No one showed for another 5 minutes. She wouldn't refund the wash without him. She called again, and the manager replied he was busy and would be there in 5-10. Still, no one had touched my car. So I said I had to leave and said just give me a coupon for a free one next time. She wouldn't (although her "computer was down" and she gave two customers free washes while I was standing there). So I left, with no clean car, and $24 less out of my pocket, because I couldn't miss my appointment.
