Hypocrisy at its finest! They will say you are a valuable customer then throw you under the bus without a second thought.
I purchased insurance through Security First when I bought my first house. When my premiums increased 150% over the next two years I decided it was worth looking around at other providers. I found one with lower premiums and switched over to it. Six months later I had a life event that significantly changed my insurance needs, and decided to ask Security First for a quote. Security First REFUSED to consider my business stating that their core value was to create a "long term relationship" and that I did not appear to want a that kind of service. Although their speculations seemed very unprofessional, I cordially said farewell and moved on. That is when I got a taste of their real core values. One of their employees didn't realize I was being carbon copied on what was likely supposed to be an inner office email ... in that email chain one of the company principals was bad mouthing me for switching my insurance elsewhere and then asking for a quote from them later. Apparently customers wanting what is best for their finances is NOT okay, but criticizing customers behind their backs is okay. Well thank you Security First for showing your true colors we will take our business else where.
