Be careful when you get your bill, especially if you're self pay. Within my bill, which had a total of about ten different line items, the hospital double charged me for three of items. One of these items was Percocet. Ultimately, they turned the account over to collections because I refused to pay until they removed the double charges, including a second "IV" charge, which was approximately an additional $400. (I had one IV, and my wife who has been a nurse for nearly 15 years was in the room the entire time we were there.) Littleton is an incredibly unethical hospital.
I had a massive heart attack at the gym and was transported to Littleton Hospital on life support. The care and expert services I had were unbelievable. I have been in hospital administration for many years and the team that worked on me was the best I have ever seen. Thank you all for you love and kindness when I needed it most. Wes
I recently had a scheduled surgery at Littleton Adventist. It required an overnight stay and I was on the same floor as the OB patients. My entire experience was excellent. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the nursing staff that cared for me during my stay, from pre op to discharge. Outstanding!
Their collections department (even though I paid a monthly amount) were worse than the people in their billing department. Again, I would not go there again. If I could give a ZERO for a score, I would have given a ZERO or a negative rating. There was ONE DOCTOR I would go back to and I don't remember his name, but the rest are NOT worth your time and definitely not worth the pain associated with doing business with them.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - I WOULD NOT GO THERE!!!!!! In my opinion, they are heartless and cruel people. I went there 2 years ago for an eye emergency, they charged me over $2400 (and would not budge on the bill) and I was there for no more than 2 hours. The most they did during that time is give me eye drops and look into my eye for debris and sent me home. They actually charged me for eye drops that I never got. The doctors that are associated with that hospital are not any better.
PLEASE GO ANYWHERE else for urgent care!! 4 hours in emergency room for tummy pain...$23,000.00. No surgery ~ Just antibiotics and pain killer provided to me. Over Charged - Should be the name of this facility. Awful access to customer service in regards to billing questions. This hospital makes it almost impossible to question your billing. **There were items I was billed for and did not get** Put on hold by customer service agent for 10 minutes, just because he did not want to take my questions...Pray you don't get Jared in Dallas for your customer support.
