Great state park with plenty to do. Staff is friendly as well.
Arrived at Chatfield the day before the eclipse. Park is full. The staff had not been able to clean our site, but we would not have known it. Pleasantly surprised to find we have a concrete pad and that our pull-in site is not only large enough for all 57 feet of us (nose of rig to bikes on the back of our toad), but we could fit another vehicle as well. Lots of room between the rigs and they are staggered on both sides of the loop so you don't look into each other. We also have enough grassy area to set up our clam screen room. Full hook ups including sewer which was completely unexpected by the reviewer.
The people and park rangers are nice and the park has so much to see and do
Chatfield is nasty, the camp grounds are clean sometimes... I hate when people want to go here.
